North London is Red: Dominating the Derby... Again

There is no feeling quite like winning the North London Derby away from home. To do it with a 4-1 scoreline—making it five consecutive wins against our local rivals—is something entirely special. Tottenham's new manager Igor Tudor had a brutal introduction to the derby.

An Eze Masterclass

Eberechi Eze, the man who almost joined Tottenham in August, was absolutely unplayable. He opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, silencing the home crowd. Though Spurs equalized two minutes later through Randal Kolo Muani after a rare error from Declan Rice, we didn't panic.

The Second Half Surge

The second half was one-way traffic. Viktor Gyökeres restored our lead just two minutes after the restart with a thunderous strike from the edge of the box. From then on, it was an exhibition.

Eze grabbed his second in the 61st minute—making it five league goals against Spurs this season alone! The traveling Gooners were in full voice, "North London is Red" echoing around the stadium. Gyökeres then put the cherry on top with his second goal deep into stoppage time.

"The character the team showed to bounce back immediately after they equalized was top. We dominated the spaces and the finishing was deadly," Arteta said with a massive smile.

This victory moves us five points clear at the top of the Premier League. Tottenham, meanwhile, linger near the relegation zone. It's a good day to be a Gooner!

Man of the Match: Eberechi Eze & Viktor Gyökeres

It's impossible to separate them today. Two goals each and absolutely devastating performances.
