Making his first European start in 405 days, Jesus scored twice inside half an hour. The first came on 10 minutes, tucked away after Jurriën Timber scuffed his strike from a Myles Lewis-Skelly pass. Petar Sucic levelled on 18 with a crisp side-footer from the edge of the box that beat David Raya, but Jesus restored the lead on 31, finishing underneath the bar after Leandro Trossard headed a Saka corner back across goal. Viktor Gyökeres, on from the bench, swept in the third on 84 to settle it.
